The village of Saint-Remèze in Ardèche

In the middle of the lavender fields and vineyards of the Ardèche is the pretty village of Saint-Remèze. In the centre of the village stands the church and its small stone castle so typical of the region. The natural and architectural heritage of Saint-Remèze is exceptional. Indeed, the town is located in the Ardèche gorges, and the limestone cliffs and caves that line them are all sights to be discovered.

Not to be missed in Saint-Remèze

Near the village, the Madeleine cave awaits you for a majestic visit. Its stalagmites make it look like a natural cathedral. Just next door is the Maison de la Réserve Naturelle des Gorges de l’Ardèche. A visit to this site will tell you more about the formation of this enchanting landscape, which can be found right around your Ardèche gîte or camping near Saint-Remèze. Finally, the Lavender Museum offers you a unique sensory experience.
